Proverbs 3:5-6 puts it plainly: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." I've built my business — and my life — on that verse, because real estate constantly asks people to move before every detail is certain.
What this looks like in practice for DMV buyers and sellers:
- Buyers: You rarely get 100% certainty before making an offer — rates might shift, another buyer might be circling the same home. At some point, preparation has to meet a decision. My job is to make sure you're making that leap with real information, not guesswork: comps, inspection history, neighborhood trajectory.
- Sellers: Timing the market perfectly is a myth. What matters is whether your home is priced and positioned correctly for this month's DC, Maryland, or Virginia conditions — not last year's headlines.
- Everyone: A good REALTOR® doesn't remove the leap of faith. They make sure you're not leaping blind.
