Pause. Reflect. Check your heart, not just your schedule. In a business built on deadlines, offers, and closing dates, it's easy to let the calendar run the relationship instead of the person. I refuse to let that happen with my clients.
What self-reflection looks like in a real estate relationship:
- Before we tour homes — I ask why you're moving, not just what you're looking for. The "why" shapes every recommendation after that.
- Before you make an offer — I ask whether this home actually serves your life five years from now, not just whether it's available today.
- Before we list your home — I ask what "success" means to you specifically — fastest sale, highest price, or least disruption — because those sometimes require different strategies.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." — Proverbs 16:3
Self-reflection keeps me grounded. God keeps me going. And that combination is what I bring into every client relationship — humility alongside expertise.
