Every desk tells a story. Mine sits in front of a map of the three places I've committed my career to serving — Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. But before I ever sat down at this desk, I sat with God first, and that order hasn't changed.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." — Colossians 3:23
That verse is the quiet foundation behind every contract I review, every negotiation I run, and every client call I take. It means:
- Excellence isn't optional. If I'm doing this work as an act of service to God, "good enough" was never the standard.
- Every client gets my full attention, not just the ones with the biggest budgets or the fastest timelines.
- Integrity isn't situational. The same honesty I'd want for my own family is the honesty I bring to every deal, whether it benefits me or costs me a commission.
I didn't get into real estate to just sell houses. I got into it because I believe helping a family find the right home — or helping a seller move confidently into their next chapter — is genuine ministry, even when it looks like paperwork and negotiations from the outside.
